DHAKA, Nov 23, 2018 (BSS) – A fire broke out in a godown of Bangladesh
Inland Transport Authority (BIWTA) in Khanpur area of Narayanganj today.
“The fire originated from the southern part of the rented godown around
12.30 pm,” said Abdullah Al Arefin, deputy director of Narayanganj Fire
Service and Civil Defence.
Being informed, eight firefighting units from different stations are trying
to bring the blaze under control. No causality was reported till filing this
report.
Meanwhile, Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan visited the area.
