KU admission test begins Nov 17

KHULNA, Nov 18, 2018 (BSS) – The admission test for the first year honors
courses in Khulna University (KU) under 2018-19 academic session will begin
on Saturday (November 17).

A total of 27,630 admission seekers are expected to attend the entry test
for 1,229 seats in 29 Disciplines under six Schools and two institutes, said
Atiar Rahman, Director of Media and Public Relation of KU.

To hold the examination peacefully, the KU authority in a meeting today
have taken various decision including seat plans and tight security measures.
KU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr. Md. Fayequzzaman chaired the meeting.

The meeting decided to set up check posts at the campus, stopping vehicles
plying from 7am to 5pm on the examinations day adjacent to the KU area.

The admission aspirants bearing Roll no-00001 to 05064 will attend the
entry test at KU campus while Roll no-05064 to 12,100 will attend the exam at
KUET, a sub center of KU, at rail gate area in the city.

The admission tests of Science Engineering and Technology School and Live
Science School under ‘A’ unit will be held from 8.30 am to 10.00pm while Art
and Humanity School, Social Science School, Law School, Fine Art Institute,
Education and Research Institute under ‘B’ unit will be held from 12.00 pm to
1.30pm. Of them, only Fine Art Institute’s admission test will be held from
12noon to 2.00pm.

The admission test of Management Business School (MBA) under ‘C’ unit will
be held from 3pm to 4.30pm.

Candidates have been asked to come to the examination halls without any
sort of electronic devices, he said.

University sources said, the results of entry test will be published on
November 20.

The result will also be available on the KU website (www.ku.ac.bd),
concerned Dean Offices and academic section of KU Register Office.
