Five new deans appointed at IU
ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY, Nov 14, 2018 (BSS) – The authority of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia today appointed five new deans of recently launching five faculties of the university, said an IU press release here today.
Professor Dr Momtajul Islam, Professor Dr M Anowarul Haque, Professor Dr SM Mostofa Kamal, Professor Dr Nesar Uddin Ahmad and Professor Dr Nasim Banu have been appointed as the deans of Engineering and Technology faculty, Biological Science faculty, Science faculty, Arts faculty and Social Sciences faculty of the university respectively.
IU VC Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari appointed them to the posts for next two years, the release added.
Engineering and Technology faculty, Biological Science faculty and Science faculty were launched through dissolving of Applied Science and Technology faculty while Arts faculty and Social Sciences faculty were launched through dissolving of Humanities and Social Sciences faculty of the university on Tuesday.
