FARIDPUR, Dec 26, 2017(BSS)- LGRD and Co operative minister engineer Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain on Monday called upon all to maintain religious harmony and peace in the society.
The minister said this while exchanging views with members of the Christian community at Faridpur Baptist Church on the occasion of Christmas day, the biggest religious festival of the Christian community, yesterday.
The minister visited the three churches including Faridpur Baptist Church,Maran Atha AG Church and Roghunondanpur Church in the district.
He also exchanged greetings with the Christian Community leaders and common people during the visit.
Deputy Director of Local Govt Abu Nayeem Mohammad Abudus Sabur, Superintendent of Police ( in charge) Jamal Pasha, Secretary of Faridpur Baptist Church, Alfred Sajal Das,LGRD Minister’s son Masrur Rahman Mitul and local AL leaders accompanied the minister.
