One-eleven masterminds plotting to bring unconstitutional govt: Qamrul
SAVAR, Oct 28, 2018 (BSS)- Food Minister Qamrul Islam today smelled wrong
in the formation of the newly-floated Jatiyo Oikkho Front, saying masterminds
of military-backed one-eleven regime are now out to plot to bring another
unconstitutional government and as a sequel to that Dr Kamal Hossain has
formed the alliance with BNP.
“BNP leaders joined the alliance as they are suffering from the leadership
crisis. One of their leaders is behind bars in a corruption case and another
is on the run after being convicted for murder and corruption,” he said.
Qamrul was speaking as the chief guest at a rally in Jhauchar area in Savar
with Tetuljhora union Awami League General Secretary Shah Alam in the chair.
Dr Kamal formed the new anti-government alliance with BNP for spoiling the
coming general election and making the polls questionable, the food minister
added.
“To maintain the ongoing development spree of the country, we need to vote
for ‘Boat’, the election symbol of Awami League,” he said, adding “We hope
the Election Commission (EC) will hold a free, fair and violence-free
election.”
Later, the minister inaugurated a newly constructed building of Jhauchar
Government Primary School.
