No confusion over general election: Ershad
DHAKA, Oct 27, 2018 (BSS) – Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman Alhaj Hussein Muhammad Ershad today said there is no confusion over the upcoming general election.
“Jatiya Party is completely prepared to participate in the next national election,” he told a function at the JP’s Chairman Office at Banani in the city, a press release said.
Ershad said, “Now Jatiya Party is a strong political party in the country. We will vie in all 300 parliamentary constituencies, if BNP does not participate in the election.”
In reply to a question of journalists, he said Jatiya Party will launch election campaign through using digital devices to get faour of the people in the national election.
“We are taking preparations to highlight our development activities of the past as well as future plans to the voters,” JP Chairman said.
JP Secretary General ABM Ruhul Amin Hawlader, MP, Presidium Members Sunil Shuvo Roy, SM Foysal Chisti and Major (retd) Khaled Akhtar, among others, were present at the function.
