CHATTOGRAM, Oct 24, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh winning captain Mashrafe gave
credit to his bowlers for Tigers’ remarkable series win over Zimbabwe.

Speaking at a post match ceremony today the Tigers’ captain said winning
the toss was crucial as he knew about the dew, but it was not as much as we
expected.

He did not forget to give credit to the bowlers who set it up platform for
the batsmen.

Mashrafe said openers paved the way and 270-280 was very much gettable. The
bowlers bowled well in patches and got the breakthrough at crucial intervals.
Imrul and Liton should have got hundreds, they won’t get such chances. The
openers getting runs is always good for the team.

Zimbabwe captain Hamilton Masakadza said they didn’t manage to kick on
after the kind of start. He also gave credit to Bangladeshi bowlers for
starving them at the death.

He said though they were in a great position but bowlers didn’t let them
get away.

He also praised the two Tigers openers who batted really well in the match
by saying that one more match to go, let’s see how it goes.
