Govt to build 33 thousands academic buildings within 2019: Nahid
DHAKA, Oct 24, 2018 (BSS) – Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid here today said that the government will build 33 thousand academic buildings in the educational institutions across the country within 2019.
“An unprecedented infrastructural development has taken place in the education sector. Around 33 thousand academic buildings will also be established within 2019 at schools, colleges and madrashas. So, it will be possible to give more allocation for improving quality education by lessening expenditure in infrastructural development in future,” said the minister.
Nurul Islam came up with the comments while addressing the closing ceremony of a training course at National Academy for Educational Management (NAEM). Director General of NAEM Prof. Dr. Syed Md. Golam Faruk presided over the function.
A total of 177 teachers of education cadre took part in the four-month long training course.
Later, the minister gave away certificates among the trainees.
