DHAKA, Dec 16, 2017 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed profound shock and grief at the death of Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Muhammed Sayedul Hoque,MP.
In her message of condolence, the Prime Minister recalled the role of Sayedul Hoque in the struggle for country’s liberation, saying he played an important role in the movement for 6 point demand and actively took part in the War of Liberation.
The popular leader was elected parliament member on Awami League ticket from Brahmanbaria-1 constituency in five times from 1973 to the 2014, she said adding the country has lost a dedicated and honest leader at his death.
The Prime Minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members
Sayedul Hoque died at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) this morning.
